Rob Nirschl

Rob is a real estate professional with strong integrity and is driven to give each client impeccable service. His goals are to help people with their real estate needs and build lifelong relationships. He strives to be an active listener, an excellent communicator, and use proven business practices in his real estate transactions. Being involved in real estate for most of his life, he is very savvy and knowledgeable in real estate. NOVA is his home for the past 55 years, so he is very familiar with numerous communities and neighborhoods including: Arlington, Ashburn, Falls Church, Fairfax, Herndon, Great Falls, Leesburg, McLean, Oakton, Reston, Shirlington, Sterling, Tysons, and Vienna.

A graduate of Marquette University, Rob received his degree in business administration. At Marquette he was a member of the varsity tennis team for 4 years. After college, he joined First American Bank (now Wells Fargo) in their prestigious management training program (one of seven people selected). He then became a loan officer and the Assistant Bank Manager of the Springfield Mall branch. After the bank, Rob joined the family business, Nirschl Orthopaedic Center, where he ran a very successful medical practice for 36 years. As the COO/Practice Administrator, he was responsible for all business aspects of running the medical practice. Nirschl Orthopaedic received numerous awards and accolades over the years under Rob’s direction. He has also served on several local boards, volunteering his time and expertise in business. Married to his wife Julie, Team lead of the Nirschl Realty Team, they have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. When his children were younger you could find Rob on the sidelines coaching youth sports: baseball, soccer and basketball – he coached 65 teams and built numerous relationships along the way.

Rob and Julie currently live in Herndon Virginia and enjoy their community very much. When not working with clients Rob enjoys time with his family, playing golf, riding his bike, walking his golden retriever (Molly), pouring beer at Friday Night Live or enjoying a few laughs over a beer at Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern.

Julie Nirschl

Meet Julie Nirschl, an award-winning Realtor and top agent in Long and Foster’s Vienna-Tysons office. Julie began her real estate career in 2012 and has cultivated a reputation for going above and beyond to make her clients journey seamless. Julie is adept at empowering her clients to secure their dream home or sell their current property and move on happily with their life. Her greatest joy and motivation is when her clients return to work with her and/or refer family and friends to her.

Julie’s approach to customer service centers around attentively listening to her clients. She has an impressive knowledge of the local area, a trustworthy demeanor, and is excellent at communicating important transaction information to her clients.

Julie graduated from Marquette University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her work with patients at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington DC and Virginia Hospital Center gave her the tools to successfully manage an individual plan of action for each client, advocate for her clients successfully, and easily multitask.

Passionate about advancing the Real Estate industry, Julie prioritizes ethics, education, and formulates a personal plan of action for each client with great focus on specific needs. She is a skilled negotiator and has a reputation in the real estate industry as being knowledgeable, professional, and successful.

She is proud to introduce the Nirschl Realty Team, established in 2025, so she can better serve her clients.

When Julie is not working, she enjoys time with her husband Rob, also a full-time Realtor, her four wonderful children and spouses, four grandchildren, and her Golden Retriever Molly. Her hobbies include long walks, hiking, reading, cooking and volunteering in her community.

Eden Sensenbrenner
